Hublot
The new Hublot Classic Fusion 42mm HUBLOT Milan Boutique Limited Edition, the iconic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele This Classic Fusion co-branded limited edition is a symbiosis between architectural aesthetics and fine watchmaking on the wrist – the first Hublot Milan Boutique collaboration! This is the first collaboration between Hublot’s Milan boutique and the landmark and the art of watchmaking in a two-way street. The dial of Hublot’s in-house automatic caliber HUB1110 is enameled in heliotrope blue, the heart of quality. The “Grand Feu Enamel” technique requires at least five firings at a high temperature of 800°C, with a temperature difference of ±5°C for each firing, in order to reproduce the radial texture of the Milanese dome in a clear and sharp manner, while at the same time presenting the unique warm luster of enamel – a process that has a natural scrap rate of more than 60% and that has been proven to have a very high quality. This process, with a natural scrap rate of over 60%, also makes each dial an unrepeatable work of art. The black ceramic version uses Hublot’s signature high-temperature sintering process: calcined at a constant temperature of 1,500°C and then precisely polished, it achieves the scratch-resistant and abrasion-resistant properties of a Mohs hardness of 9, with a matte finish that perfectly matches the cool texture of the Milanese architecture, and it is fired in a vacuum environment to avoid any contaminants and ensure that the color of each case is even and without imperfections. The titanium version has been subjected to a dual sandblasting and brushing process: the density (only 60% of that of steel) is low, while the density of the case is kept low, with a density of 4.5g/cm³. While maintaining the lightness of 4.5g/cm³ (60% of steel), the anodized surface enhances corrosion resistance, and the satin texture combines wear-resistance and visual sophistication for everyday use.
