Ceramic is an inorganic non-metallic substance formed through high-temperature firing. This material can be used to manufacture high-density watch components with exceptional mechanical properties.Ceramic ranks among consumers’ most favored watch materials, prized for its striking, diverse hues and exceptional properties. Twice as light as stainless steel, ceramic offers superior wear resistance, scratch resistance, biocompatibility, hypoallergenicity, and non-magnetic properties.This timepiece features a 44.25mm case housing a blackened movement. The caseback reveals the far side of the moon, seen only by astronauts. The watch is paired with a black micro-perforated rubber strap featuring a striking yellow rubber insert at its center.The entire watch is crafted from black ceramic, featuring a central chronograph seconds hand accented with yellow lacquer and a bezel adorned with laser-engraved, bright white enamel tachymeter scales.The small seconds hand is crafted from Grade 5 titanium, ingeniously shaped to resemble the Saturn V rocket. This 3D form is achieved through laser turning, with color variations created by applying white lacquer, laser ablation, and laser blackening techniques.
