Glashütte Original Eccentric Series 1-90-02 models, the acquisition of the original over a period of 3 years to open the mold to create a perfect restoration of the Cal.90-02 three-quarter German movement, double jumping large date is wonderfully presented, 3/4 movement polished beautifully and unparalleled, 2 o’clock position of the day-phase normal operation, the size of the 40mm, hardened and burnished blued steel hands. The layout of the dial follows the golden ratio, with the hour/minute dial and small seconds dial still positioned to the left of the dial, with the center of the circle aligned vertically, and the large date and superb moon phase displays below and to the upper right of it respectively. The rhodium-plated silver-colored hour markers sit below the blued steel hour, minute and seconds hands, and the distinctive big date display is completed by the moon phase display dial with the silver-colored moon and stars embedded in the deep blue night sky. The watch is fitted with a 3/4 plate, which serves to carry the timekeeping wheels and which, during assembly, must be aligned with several arbors at the same time, a task that can only be accomplished with firm hands, care and a great deal of time and effort. The 3/4 plate greatly improves the stability of the movement compared to a traditional construction consisting of several bridges. In addition, the 3/4 plate not only reduces the wheelbase tolerance of the gears, but also makes the movement more resistant to tarnishing. The BBA on your wrist, you deserve it.

Glashütte Original has recently introduced a unique and distinctive model that combines the rigors of watchmaking with avant-garde design to create this exquisite Senator Chronometer. The dial, inspired by the famous marine chronometers of the past, combines contemporary elegance with the aesthetics of a classically inspired chronometer. 316 all-steel case, diameter: 42 mm, and the slender bezel, exclusive to the Senator collection, allow the dial’s fine details to be revealed in all their splendor. It provides excellent viewing conditions and facilitates the reading of the various dial displays: the small seconds at 6 o’clock and the power reserve at 12 o’clock. The long, slender, polished, pear-shaped white gold hands are refined, beautiful and elegant. The power-reserve display and the small-seconds dial, which pass by the hands as they turn, are embedded in the depths of the dial to illustrate the rationality of the watch’s layout and its structural complexity. The movement is the complex hand-wound Calibre 58-01.
